Move-In and Move-Out Support

We want to make you feel at home and to make your place your own, but some restrictions apply. Before painting, hanging items, or making any modifications, check your lease agreement or ask management. We're happy to clarify what's allowed. Keep in mind, it is essential that your home is returned in the same condition it was received.
We understand that plans can shift. If you need to end your lease early, contact our leasing office as soon as possible so we can talk through your lease terms, explain what may apply under DC tenant protections, and help you understand the next steps.
Your lease will specify the required advance notice of 60 days in writing. At move-out, we'll conduct a walkthrough of your apartment and provide a checklist ahead of time to help you maximize your deposit return.
Under DC law, landlords are required to return security deposits within 45 days of the lease end date, along with an itemized statement of any deductions. Leaving your apartment in good condition and providing your forwarding address are the two most important things you can do to speed things along.
